I heard a few da-ding chimes as new devices were recognized but finally a da-dah error chime as the device was not recognized. However, no comm ports are available under the device manager. I connected the micro usb cable from J14 to my computers usb port several times like in the GettingStartedGuide p. I’ve been able to install this on a clean machine. I only see the same COM1 port that has been there before.

If Ysb-to-uart try to update the drivers for such COM1 cy7c64225 usb-to-uart and select Win7 drivers from Cypress installed folders then it does change the type of the port to USB serial port but still does not work.
In the meantime, do not install the driver from Windows Update. The device does show up as a Cy7c64225 usb-to-uart on my machine.

For me it wasn’t exactly what you described, but it worked. There are two micro USB. If so you will need cy7c64225 usb-to-uart re-install the drivers from the Windows update as normal and then you may need to repeat the process. I did find that I did not have to disable my ethernet access during the update but just opend up the dialog box and told cy7c64225 usb-to-uart to skip looking for a Windows update after I installed the driver from the Cypress website.

I can delete them, reboot without Cy7c64225 usb-to-uart, uninstall and reinstall the driver, cy7c64225 usb-to-uart to no effect. Between each attempt I restarted windows after uninstalling previous driver and restarted again after installing new driver. I tried this same procedure with Win10 drivers from same Cypress folders and got the same results. Skip to main content. After that, it now plugs in and out as fast as I want. If I right-click and select Update Cy7c64225 usb-to-uart, it doesn’t find any suitable driver for any of them in C: I have a similar problem with Windows 10 64 Bit.
